Lunchtime Learnings for Job Seekers
Lunchtime learnings are available every third Wednesday of the month immediately following the 10 am meeting in Community Room 1 of the Harlem Road Community Center. Currently, the topic is "No Job, Now What? Answers to the Financial Questions of Job Seekers." It covers tax issues, questions on severance and unemployment, 401k and other benefits questions, health insurance and more. The lunch and learn is held only when at least one member signs up by emailing parachutegroup@gmail.com or calling 716-276-1117.
Please call or email if you have a request for other lunchtime learning topics or if you would like to conduct a lunchtime learning. Members are also encouraged to suggest presentation topics and guest speakers for our meetings. Former members are invited to come back to tell us how they landed their new job!
