Joining The Parachute Group is a matter of showing up to one of our meetings. There is no registration, no membership dues or fees of any kind. The group is independent of any corporation, non-profit organization, governmental program or other affiliation. Those who prefer may remain anonymous, although we do need an email address if you'd like to be on our newsletter mailing list. You are welcome to join us at our weekly meetings:
In the Buffalo Area:
Wednesdays from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Snyder, NY
In the Niagara Falls Area: Meetings to be announced.
Weekly Meetings Include:
1. Sharing among members regarding the job search and current opportunities available in the community
2. Exchanging information and contacts
3. Guest speakers on interviewing techniques, resume writing, online networking and more
4. Visitors representing area employers presenting job opportunities with their firms
